This is 3 year old Jonathan conducting to the 4th movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony. This piece was conducted by Herbert von Karajan and the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of Jonathan's favorite conductors and orchestras. Jonathan's passion for classical music became apparent when he was only eight months old. Shortly after that he began conducting on his own.

  1. He's just scratching it, not picking it. lol
  2. Touching beyond words! People are awesome!
  3. bravo! the cutest conductor i ve ever watched! its really amazing how he had memorized the whole movement - perhaps he s a musical genius!
  4. He'll grow up to be a great conductor some day. Teach them while they're young, lol.
  5. Fabulous!!! Will he become a famous conductor one day? I hope so. I think von Karajan would have enjoyed this too.
  6. WELL, DID HE WIN?! I surely hope sooo!!!!
  7. Falar mais o que???Fantastico...
  8. okay, I understand how most videos have their fair share of thumbs-down... but how can ANYONE dislike this?!? the music by itself is mindblowing, but seeing a three year old child "conduct" it better than 99% of the population of planet earth brings happy tears to my eyes. Kid knows the piece better than I do (and I've studied it). He's definitely going places nobody else has before -- I can't wait to see his career! Oh to be a child... wish it would never end. Wish we didn't have to grow up.
  9. He totally got it.
  10. Sweet...somebody laugh but this child loves Beethoven.
  11. 天才を初めて見ました!
  12. yihaaaaa !!!
  13. you're a wizard, jon
  14. very nice ..love it
  15. That kid has me beat by two years! I was five when I heard this work for the first time and it made an enormous impression on me, so that I can attest that this music is reaching this kid also, no question about it. And I too, was making movements as I was listening to it. I heard the work twice during the course of a day that first time. And I noted the first time I heard it the exposition repeat in the last movement which was not there when I heard it the second time. (Summer of 1941).
  16. Smart boy lol...
  17. What a wonderful boy! Beyond amazing really...truly talented...ye should be so proud! Love him
  18. Dios envía talentos... Este es uno de ellos.
