Just to clear this out. John Clarke is using Loop Pedals. He is pressing Pedal 1 to record, and repress it after he is finished recording the Pedal 1 stops recording and the device plays what it recorded. Then he plays over the recorded piece HE recorded playing on his own. That's not a duet. Cheers. Oh and by the way, legendary piece John. he does that allot .. 3 or 4 layers !!
