But you didn't have to cut me off Make out like it never happened And that we were nothing And I don't even need your love But you treat me like a stranger And that feels so rough You didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records And then change your number I guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know I used to know That I used to know Somebody... ************* Video credits: Directed, produced and edited by Natasha Pincus Body art by Emma Hack Cinematographer and colourist: Warwick Field Scenic artist: Howard Clark Key grip: Rob Hansford Assistants: Rose Cidoni, Claire Leighton, Rob Murray Original artwork by Frank De Backer Music credits: Produced by Wally De Backer Mixed by Francois Tetaz, assisted by Wally at Moose Mastering, Richmond, VIC Bass recorded by Wally in Lucas Taranto's loungeroom, Melbourne, VIC All other sounds put together by Wally in The Barn, Merricks, VIC Bass guitar: Lucas Taranto Lead and backing vocals: Kimbra Guitar, flutes, percussion and synth samples, lead and backing vocals: Wally Contains a sample of the recording Seville as performed by Luiz Bonfa. 1. I think that when the girl stretches and leaves the painted area she's in it's like she's going out of her boundaries. This is so artistic and there's real meaning behind that scene. She is leaving her boundaries for him.
  2. This is what it would sound like if couples sang their arguments. The guy makes a perfectly viable argument, then the girl says something to derail the conversation, and talk about what happened in the past like "what about that time you looked at my mom's boobs" and the guy's all "I'm gonna repeat what I said two seconds ago because clearly you didn't hear me" then the girl's all "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" And then walks away just as you finish talking.
  3. Not to start an argument, But I think it is a little weird and, in my opinion, perverted that they were bpth *naked* in the same room with a camera on them almost showing their "parts" all the time.
  4. Espero les guste la canción! #Gotye
  5. I fapped to this, lel

  15. Now and then I think of when we were together Like when you said you felt so happy you could die I told myself that you were right for me But felt so lonely in your company But that was love and it's an ache I still remember You can get addicted to a certain kinda sadness Like resignation to the end, always the end So when we found that we could not make sense Well you said that we would still be friends But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over But you didn't have to cut me off Make it like it never happened and that we were nothing I don't even need your love, but you treat me like a stranger And that feels so rough 정말 냉정해 No, you didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records And then change your number 번호도 바꾸고 Guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know Now you're just somebody that I used to know Now you're just somebody that I used to know [Kimbra:] Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over But had me believin' it was always something that I'd done But I don't wanna live that way Reading into every word you say You said that you could let it go And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know-oh-oh [Gotye:] But you didn't have to cut me off Make it like it never happened and that we were nothing(oh) I don't even need your love, but you treat me like a stranger And that feels so rough 정말 냉정해 (oh) No, you didn't have to stoop so low 아니, 넌 그렇게 비굴해질 필요도 없었어 Have your friends collect your records And then change your number(oh) 번호도 바꾸고 Guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know Somebody that I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 누군가 Somebody (now you're just somebody that I used to know) 누군가 (이제 너는 그냥 과거에 내가 알던 누군가야) That I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 Somebody that I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 누군가 Somebody (somebody) (now you're just somebody that I used to know) 누군가 (누군가) (이제 너는 그냥 과거에 내가 알던 누군가야) That I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 That I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 I used to know 과거에 내가 알던 [Gotye&Kimbra:] Somebody 누군가

  21. To everyone saying it's disgusting how the "male" parts and "female" parts are almost exposed, I just want to point out who gives a fuck? The music video and song meaning is artistic so shut up
  22. The green color symbolises St Patrick's day. The yellow means a desert scorpion. The red means a llamas menstrual cycle. Grey is baby seal and the white is there brains bashed out.
  23. What I absolutely love about this song is just how intense it actually is.
