Beautiful religious song... LYRICS: Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me.... I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now, I see.   1. Our minds aren't that intelligent to understand such a great and dynamic Christian faith. Our thoughts aren't that powerful enough to make judgements about the Christian Faith. So in the interest of Christianity and the humanity, let's rest our differences and look to the Everlasting love of the Christian Faith. We all aren't perfect, but we can try to be one.   2. Amazing Grace is such a song, that in any format, you would love it. Its a true prayer, from John Newton, and if you ask me, even today, this song, stands out among popular Christian hymns and songs, as the one song, that truly speaks everything a mind is going through. Thanks to all, the faithful and the atheists as well, If Christ our Lord were to read comments here, he would have just smiled away. But as a nobody, that i am, i still thank the Christian Faith, for being with me, for 30 years.

  8. Revelation 1:7 says that Jesus Christ Himself fulfilled the prophecy of being pierced by sinners. John 17:5 - "the glory I had with you before the world began." So Christ existed before the world? Hhrrhmmm.. SOunds like Jesus to me. idolatry? I think not.
  9. John 1:14 says that "THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMOUNG US..." Also interesting. It says that God, or rather the very Word of God, was brought into the human condition, and lived for a period with men. Hey, sounds like Jesus to me again. Zechariah 12:10, GOD said that HE (God) would be "pierced" by sinners. Very interesting also. Could it possibly mean that he would be raised upon the Cross? You know, being pierced by three nails on one cross and all.
  10. - And why would Christians get that idea? Let's have a look: Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23 both declare, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US." Sounds like Jesus to me. I Timothy 3:16 says that "GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH." Hrrm, sounds like God elected to be born into the human condition. Again, sounds like Jesus.
  11. @mrartvandelay3000 I surprised you call Jesus "lord or God" when the second commandment clearly states "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God" and if Jesus did proclaim Godhood doesn't that contradict God's words. Truth is Jesus didn't proclaim it and it was a lie, the christian faith is idolatry.

  15. This Hymn is my all time favorite. I'm not quite sure about anyone else, but I think it truly emphasizes what Christianity/Catholicism really is. We're all in a relationship with Christ and He has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams.
