- Great performance! Keep up the great work!!! :)
- what mode does irish music usually use? like... is this dorian or something? i just want to know so i can write my own :)
- The tunes are:
1) Cooley's Reel.
2) Dick Gossip's (also known as the Castle Reel).
3) Calliope House.
4) Cooley's Reel again.
The second and the third tunes are taken from a set called "Strings of Fire" from the "Lord of the Dance" show. The fourth melody should be the "Congress Reel" (like it was in the set), and he actually started to play it, but then changed his mind and returned to "Cooley's Reel".
- Great performance!
- Irish music is my favorite music, despite the fact that I am not of Irish decent (Scottish though). The irish musicians make the old blues masters (whom I also love) seem like hacks. Just love the melodious nature of the music. Stirs the soul. Never heard of you guys before, but I have now. Wonderful performance. Just a little bit bitter inside with jealousy of your talent. I tip my hat to you gentlemen.
