- It wouldn't matter anyway. there is more than one way to interpret a song and quite frankly, Jackie puts more passion behind her singing than some singers who wrote the songs in the first place.
Some people either don't get it, or have forgotten than music is about an emotional connection. Where that connection is made, or in what context it's made is irrelevant.

- Actually, she's a lyric soprano. A tenor is a male singing voice. But you're right on "one of the most beautiful" part. Besides her magnificent voice, she's also one of the most giving, caring and humble individuals you'll ever come across.
- Interesting, but the best songs transcend such specific references, and their lyrical expressions become universal references to the human condition. This is one of those timeless songs. An evergreen. And that is the greatest compliment that one can make to the conceiver of a song.

And that's why we see so much emotion in every song she sings, regardless of the language in which it's sung. And your drug warning is totally off base. She has great parents, is very well-grounded and has her faith. She's one very blessed young lady, who's also blessed several thousand, or millions. JE's quiet well looked after by a wonderful family.
