Movement Electronic Music Festival takes place in downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza May 28th-30th, celebrating techno music in the city where it was born. Saturday through Monday, from noon til midnight the beats don't stop. Experience electronic music being performed by top artists from around the world and join nearly 100,000 revelers for one of biggest parties of 2011.

- Last year was the first time I went sober!! It was amazing, and so much fun though I lost my cell phone. I'm on Methadone Maintenance and I been off dope for 2 years. Though I got asked tons of times by people if a wanted E, or some dope " Heroin. Its turning into a problem in the Metro Detroit Area, with teens and adults going down to the city to buy dope. When I was at Demp, the drug dealers would stand out front of the event selling. Then some buy a 3 day pass, and stand inside and make money

- its not too early to tell the dates any year, because its ALWAYS the last weekend in May. if you have a calendar that shows future years (computer or phone) you can always know the exact dates of DEMF.
