I'd love to hear some of his critics sing that song with as much passion or reverence for LOVE... Hmmmmmph! Thank you kind soul Mr. Otis Redding. Thank you.

  9. It must have been fabulous to have seen Otis live ,especially at The Ram Jam Club---it must have been MAGIC! I am an Australian 69 yo & saw Nina Simone live at The Ram Jam Club in the 60's & she was MESMERIZING!. She just had the whole audience spellbound. I will always remember that concert & The Ram Jam Club.

  15. Forgotten ya ya awesome!
  16. Tyrese would be the closest voice to his today, but Otis' voice.... I mean his voice?!?!?!? So uniquely beatifully masculine. I like Lil Wayne alot but his voice is like a Lil Woman in comparison.
  17. WOW! :-) !!
  18. Pure natural saturated talent - a Soul Master! Otis was a peak moment in American music. (Back-up band here is Booker T. & the MGs, plus a horn section.)
