I was thinking today, as I revisited Susan's talent, wow she sounds a bit like Barbara and then I found this video, interesting. Both are beautiful singers. My mom loved Barbara!! No need to be hateful for saying that. Maybe susan's tone sounds more pleasant, but Barbra's version is much more exciting and fun, and she expresses the meaning of the song.  I love the beauty and purity of Susan Boyle's voice. Both most beautiful voices, Streisand is an amazing actress, Boyle is an amazing natural. Both live their dreams in singing and made it big. Thanks for sharing this. barbra is more |"straight" .... and i like it ... I was responding to the comment that Boyle can't hold her notes because of breath control. You mean Streisand? Boyle definitely more a voice of honey here. You're just a fool who does not know the difference, it was a time and what is now the present.!! Barbra Streisand is a diva in the great times as no one compares it.! Susan Boyle  has a magnificent voice ..! excellent interpreter.... Love Susan Boyle's voice in this song! yeah. Wow!! Susan Boyle wins this hands down. Actually, Boyle's makes me wish Streisand wasn't singing here at all. Her voice stresses me out and makes me want to jump and run away. Instead Boyle's interpretation is soothing, smoky sensual, without excessive vocal gymnastics. You did not just say that. Please tell me you are kidding and you did not just say that! VINCE SHAW. I am a vocalist, composer, multi-instrumentalist. I taught myself how to write music but I had extensive training. I sing advanced music and write advanced music. I can write simple music too. We need donations since the commercial world does not fund serious composers or serious musicians. We need assistance. All serious musicians do. Susan hasn't got the breath to hold her notes, Barbara wins hands down every time Streisand is an exciting and original song stylist. Boyle has a nice voice.
