However if you scratch just a little beneath the surface into hip hop culture, you will find a good amount of very descent hip hop artists who make songs like these. @ambientelectronic kanye was influenced by it, for sure...but he ain't totally jack em...would you prefer he made shittier music?...dilla respected kanye, btw Kanye West is influenced by these in a BIG WAY, hes totally stolen there whole style.
