  17. I'm not sure any of those songs belong at number one, but they all belong much higher than "Thunderstruck". Personally I think number 1 should go to "Satisfaction", "A Day in the Life" or "Like a Rolling Stone" but I am 60's biased. If we are talking about classic rock, I suppose a strong case can be made for "Bohemian Rhapsody" to be in the top 5. If you take my three picks, "Rhapsody" and "Stairway" in just about any order you would have a top 5 that would be hard to beat.

With the possible exception of AC/DC (who got three chances, including, of all things, "Thunderstruck" a total wtf selection), B.O.C. and Dick Dale I don't think you even got the best song by these bands. I guess most of the songs are one the best songs by most of the bands, but you really think the Beatles peaked with a cover on their first album? Nothing from the Ramones first three classic albums tops the milquetoast punk of "Sedated"? VH peaked with a studio wank jam? In a word: no.
